Quality and quantity checks on the cargo during unloading, measurements of the vessel’s draught, sampling of the cargo and preparation of samples for analysis. We begin the process by photographing the vessel, the enclosed cargo holds and the cargo. We then carry out measurements of the ship’s draught. We obtain data on the vessel’s schedule, crew documentation, vessel documentation and the weather report.
Before unloading, we inspect the suitability of the holds and the method of storage. We monitor and photograph the unloading process. During unloading, we take samples of the phosphate and prepare them in 5 kg bags for analysis. Once the goods have been unloaded, we photograph the empty ship’s hold. We carry out the entire procedure in accordance with the client’s instructions. Upon completion of the inspection, we issue a report on the unloading of the goods.
